Dr. Crystal Benjamin is a relationship educator, marital and family expert and CEO of Enriched Life Limited, the premier relationship education company in the Caribbean. She received her PhD in Family Studies from Loma Linda University in California, USA. Dr. Benjamin is a certified pre-marital counsellor and family life educator. She has completed substantial research on diverse and significant issues which impact family life and holistic health. Her research conducted on marriage and the family has been published in several distinguished encyclopedias. Her article, “Retreat from Marriage” published in The Wiley Blackwell Encyclopedia of Family Studies as a case in point, examines various elements in contemporary society which impact marriage and divorce rates.

Dr. Benjamin has been working with individuals, couples, families and groups for more than 8 years and has a profound understanding of family science and the skills necessary to foster healthy relationships. Her practice has been effective and transformative. Through facilitating workshops, coaching and counselling clients, she has witnessed lives being transformed in as little as one session. Her clients have been able to successfully overcome negative relationship cycles, implement personal boundaries, identify unique skills, take steps to improve their marriage, and pursue happiness.

Dr. Benjamin is an agent of social change and a voice for the empowerment and liberation of people. She served as an ambassador for Girls With Roots, a non-profit organization which empowers Caribbean women and girls. Dr. Benjamin is also an advocate for at-risk boys and girls who are predisposed to abuse and violence. She is married to Melvin Benjamin.
